HOW TO GET HERE
You are about to book a special journey, to travel from your home, country, lifestyle, from stress, schedules etc to our island home, in Palawan the Philippines. To enjoy a lifestyle of rejuvenation and de-stressing from hectic schedules.

If this sounds like a worthwhile travel experience, what are you waiting for?

Book your International flight to travel from your city to Manila, the capital of the Philippines. On arrival in the Philippines, most visitors receive a FREE 21-day visa (there are a few exceptions). Extensions are hassle-free and we are happy to offer assistance.

Travel in and around Manila
You can either make your own Manila transport/transfer plans or we can arrange for our personal driver Edgardo, to meet you at the International airport and to assist with Manila transport (most visitors prefer this). Edgardo will drive you to your hotel (if you need to overnight in Manila) or direct to the Island Transvoyager (ITI) airport for a direct El Nido flight.

We send your Edgardo’s pics and phone # so as not to miss him.

There are several ways to get to El Nido.

1. Direct travel from Manila to El Nido: – this is the fastest and easiest way to arrive in El Nido and you do this via the Interisland Transvoyager plane, better know as just ITI. Sometimes there are twice weekly SEAIR flights as well. (best to us at the time)

2. Via Puerto Princesa: – This offers you a much cheaper flight, however from Puerto Princesa you will need to travel via a shuttle van or bus trip up to our island and this can take between 5 -7 hours of travel, (if no breakdowns).

This travel depends on several things:

a). When you arrive;
b). What El Nido or Puerto Princesa flight we have managed to get you a seat on or what you prefer:
c). How tired you are after your International travel on arrival and again what you would prefer:
d) If for budget reasons or you are part of a group, whereby we can’t arrange multiple seats for your travel plans direct to El Nido.

e) If ALL ITI seats around the time you want to come are full. However this is rare as they have an average of 3 flights per day (see details below) and even if you can’t get on a confirmed flight you can often succeed with a chance passenger option.

See below for more info on Puerto Princesa flights and travel arrangements.

ITI used to be Corporate Air and before that Soriano Aviation and they are a small 18-seater, charter plane for the two big resorts here. Few Travel Agents know of ITI and unless you live in the Philippines or have a friend here, tickets can be challenging travel experience.

This private small airline prioritize seats for their customers first, only confirming external visitors 5 days before the flight.

We suggest you book and pay for these flights in your package and we will arrange this travel plan for you and send your ticket to ITI’s Manila Front Desk for you to collect on arrival.

SEAir also fly direct
from Manila to El Nido twice weekly, their schedule varies, so best to ask us at the time and we will double check their situation for you

Costs are approx.. USS$165 each way.

If you prefer to travel without our help, do ask us to email you a sketch of ITI closer to your arrival, as many people, including some Manila taxi drivers don’t know where to find the small ITI hanger in Pasay.

When you land at El Nido airport,

Relax and wait under the pepper tree in ITI’s lovely garden area. When the plane takes off back to Manila (approx.. 30 minutes) Bong will arrive with his tricycle to drive you to our waiting boat 12 minutes away, most likely in Corong Corong or town where you will travel to our island.

Do check out contacts for our mobile number and FAQ for more current travel info to Manila and also to Puerto Princesa City.

El Nido And Our Wonderful Island Is Safe:

Manila has 10 million people and for all its size, population and poverty, it has much less crime than other similar sized International cities.

The majority of the population are polite conservative Catholics, though as in any big city, one must be careful. News is what sells newspapers and in the south of the country, Muslim rebel factions in Mindanao do exist, however this area is very far away from El Nido, Palawan.

Once you travel to our lovely backwater, and then get here, you will appreciate our small rural and mountainous environment with many scattered small peaceful islands.
