Your Private Healing Island Wellness/Cleansing Detox/Yoga Retreat

Private Island offers professionally supported pre cleansing medical services, that include colonics, live blood, urine, stool, blood, thyroid and cholesterol analysis,
plus a follow-up therapeutic post cleansing, supplementation plan to continue your self-healing program when you return home.   

Please read 'What to Expect' especially about the weather as this might help you decide on what
items and clothes you'll need.
Remember ITI's luggage allowance is 15 kgs: SEAir is only 10kgs. Excess is approx. US$1 per kg.

First of all let us  just say that most visitors bring far more than they need while here.

Most of the time you'll be lying on the beach, stretched out in your hammock, or swimming and snorkeling
"a la natural" (if you prefer) as our retreat offers clothes-optional facilities.

Our Total and Gentle Detox Programs include 2 colorful sarongs, 2 Private Island T- shirt or sleeveless tops
If you have chosen to avail of our less costly Mild Candida, Chronic Fatigue program with less frills, you are
welcome to purchase at a small additional cost.

Other clothes as you can see are rarely needed!

Some visitors like to bring a small Ipod and some music for when doing their colonics and for meditation.
Some special spiritual tapes too maybe.
Also if you wear glasses you might like to bring some especially made swimming/snorkeling goggles. 
Check out the internet you'll find some for less than $30. (See our list below of what you should bring)

• We do have
  some shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, mosquito repellent and sun protection (though not organic); after-sun lotion and better still fresh Aloe Vera, coconut oil (for body moisturizers)
  mosquito nets, an abundance of towels, warm duvets and many small cushion type pillows for your bed (you just have to ask); a good selection of books in our library;
  snorkeling gear (snorkels, masks, fins and booties)
  
• We offer a laundry service, if needed.
  
• No need for makeup or special shoes, aside from a pair of tevars (sandals with velcro straps)
  And as our energy mostly runs from 12 volt solar power, with a very small 220 inverter power in our office, we prefer you not bring gadgets (especially NOT a hairdryer or coffee maker).
  Plus we appreciate that a cell phone nowadays seems hard to be without and we can charge them, however we suggest you try to forget they exist if you can.
  That goes for using the Internet too ...
  and yes jeweler is not needed here............ ha..ha!
  
  Remember you are here in paradise at the end of the world where many items make no sense to have as they are just not necessary

• What you will need to bring will be a very positive and determined YOU!
  
• Your stay here will need at least a 80% support coming from you to get your life turned around.
  It can't change, unless you change...This might mean a lot of things to do, not just dream about.
  
  
• You could bring
  Your preferred ORGANIC and NATURAL suntan lotions, mosquito repellant and other toiletries.
  A very good organic toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner.
  Natural sleeping formula if you find sleeping hard sometimes.
  A pair of light cotton, long pants to help prevent mosquito bites in our rainy season.
  (acyclic or linens are NOT practical in the tropics)
  A long sleeved shirt and light sweater for our very occasional cool nights
  1 or 2 pairs of shorts, and some skimpy tops (again cotton is best)
  a camera, some film
  a small flashlight/torch, the best is the Led light cluster type. They are healing too.
  some incense, some candles and essentials oils for your own personal pleasure
  a couple of big black plastic bags for your pack/bag for the boat transfer in case the sea is rough
  A small traveling clock in a little case would be most useful.
   I would be happy to buy it form you when you leave, as our local clocks tend to have a very minimal life
  
  Semi Precious Stones:
  We encourage visitors (if you are interested) to bring a few semi precious stones or crystals to plant in the nearby rocks to offer up a symbol of respectful connection to our protective nature spirits. Its a fun thing for  you and our staff to remember too.
  
  
It 's hard for us to say what else.
Well OK....maybe just 1-2 good books you really have been looking forward to the right time to enjoy and that you might like to leave behind so we can donate to our book exchange program in El Nido, some of the young kids in our island and nearby village and their schools.

And a few bottles of essential oil, like lavender or grapefruit that we can pay you for on arrival would be nice. You are welcome to ask if we might need anything else.

That's it basically, you are leaving civilization and here in island retreat paradise you'll need so little.
