Private Island is 45 minutes by boat from El Nido town with the airport 15 minutes north of town. Small 18-seater planes fly into El Nido, Palawan Philippines either from Manila or Puerto Princesa Palawan, also called the "Garden City".
Your Manila - El Nido - Manila flights together with Govt taxes are additional costs from our program fees.
These additional costs are clearly explained and included in our final all-inclusive prices once you confirm your length of program

Once we receive your complete payment, we'll reserve and book your return Manila-El Nido-Manila domestic flights.
Note: Getting good airline information is difficult and the situation is often changing so we suggest you let us take care of this.

Arriving in Manila Philippines after your International flight
You might not have to stay in Manila if you prefer not to.
Never mind that you are tired, you can sleep when you get here.

Depending on day and time of arrival and whether traveling with just a simple hold-all bag to avoid the baggage claim delay, there's a good chance of connecting a SEAir or ITI El Nido flight, avoiding an overnight in Manila.

If coming on a 22-day/21-night or longer Health Challenging Retreat; 15-day/14-night Cleansing Rejuvenation Purification with High Enema, Colon cleansing, or our 8-day/7-night Living Raw Food, Nutrition and Healing Retreat, your island program includes a personal International airport pick-up and transfer to your hotel, then the following morning your transfer to the domestic airport for your Palawan flight.

If you arrive early enough to an avail of a same day domestic flight connection; we arrange for someone to be at Internatioanl Airport to meet you and to drive you to the clinic for your medical test. From there you will be driven to the domestic airport for your Palawn connection.

depending on the time of your arrival.
Arriving:
The best is to arrive in Manila before 12 noon.
This way someone for our Manila medical clinic would meet you at the International Airport when you arrive and drive you to their
nearby clinic. Once there your tests would include an LBA (live blood analysis) blood chemistry, urine tests and a high colonics.
All of these professionally supported services are included in your most of our programs.

You are welcome to ask our Naturopath, Cecilia for any other advice, suggestions or further tests she might feel would be good for you.
These would be addition extra charges and your obligation to arrange payment.

You would need to leave the clinic not later than 2pm to catch the 3pm ITI flight allowing you to get to our private island in Palawan the same day.

Cecilia's driver (generally her brother Edgardo) will then drive you to ITI (Island Transvoyager) terminal/hanger not far away near the domestic airport for you to catch
their 3pm flight to El Nido.

Alternatively if you are arriving late, we or you could arrange to be collected from the International airport and driven to your hotel of choice, then the following morning be collected by Edgardo to take you to the clinic and then your domestic palawan flight.

On arrival in El Nido airport, you will be met by one of our El Nido Center staff and accompanied to our waiting boat.
Your boat transfers to and from Private Island Natural Health Spa are included in our program package.

As you will most likely be having blood tests, you'll need to abstain from eating for at least 6, preferably 8 hours before you have your tests.
All this will be clarified again in our emails.
 

Traveling light is highly recommended as we have snorkeling gear, towels, mosquito repellent, and sunscreen.
Clothes need only be minimal and maybe tennis shoes if you want to hike and you can avoid excess baggage costs (see below).

***If you are (for whatever reason) wanting to come straight to us directly from Manila International airport on the same day, and not booking our Medical
 tests together with personal transfers  please exit the arrivals doors, go upstairs to the upper level, and take an airport recommended taxi for there.

Traveling takes approx. 12-25 mins from the International Airport to the Domestic Terminal for SEAir, or Soriano Hanger, Andrews Ave for ITI.

 This taxi cost during the day-time should not be more that US$3 - 4.
Again remember a one hour ride in the day time costs approx P150 which is just $3.00.

Departing:
 As above but in reverse, without any stop for medical tests.
The best is to have a late flight out of Manila say after 8pm.
We can then try for ITI's 3pm flight (if they have one) getting you to Manila around 6.15pm...
We will again arrange for a driver to collect you from domestic airport and take you to International.
It you need to overnight in a hotel, he'd drive you to your hotel of choice, then to International the next day.

This Interisland Transvoyager "ITI" map is a directional map for the ITI Soriano Aviation Hanger, just around the corner from SEAir at the Domestic Terminal. (click the map for a clearer blow-up).
ITI formerly know as Corporate Air, was before that better known as Soriano Aviation.

Should you prefer or have no choice but to overnight in Manila, we can arrange an overnight stay either at the modest and clean Malate Pension’ or one of the middle market range hotels like
Best Western, Holiday Inn, Astoria's, Hyatt, Casino, Heritage or Copacabana.
These are all relatively clean, and fair priced being both near the International airport and Domestic clinic.

The Malate only charge between US$19 - US$27 for a room.
The others between US$45 - 75++

 ITI is 15 kilos ...Excess is US$1.30 per kilo.
SEAir is only 10 kilos... Excess is US$ .90 per kilo.
Full Flight Details
From Manila and back to Manila
SEAir flies 2-3 times a week via Busuanga, leaving Manila around 7.45am, arriving in El Nido around 9.00am This same flight proceeds onto Puerto Princesa connecting with larger PAL and Air Philippines flights to or from Manila. They also return back from Puerto Princesa,
stopping in El Nido, then passing Busuanga onto Manila the same day leaving El Nido around 3.35pm
Generally it's 3 times per week between Dec-May, then 2 times per week between June to Nov.
Note: They often change their schedules so please ask for the current situation.

ITI fly daily (sometimes 2 or 3 times daily) They are ‘chartered flights’ for the more expensive Lagen and Miniloc Islands nearby, where seats are possible, though a little harder to confirm in advance. They fly from Manila at 7.30am and 3pm, sometimes 11.30 am as well.
They return to Manila at 9.30am and 5pm, sometimes at 1pm.

Airport and El Nido town boat transfers to our private island self-healing spa are included in all both Rejuvenation, Purification, Cleansing Detox Fasting, with Colon cleansing, Raw Food, Weight Loss and Healing Programs and shorter Taster Programs and take approx. 1 hour. 10 mins each way.

If we are expecting you, just look for one of our very friendly (but sometimes shy) representatives in a Private Island Natural Health Spa T-shirt. The airport terminal here is private for both Lagen and Miniloc Resorts and the airport manager will not allow us to use a Private Island Natural Health Spa name board.

Transport/Transfer to the island: Generally because of the very shallow shoreline just in front of the runway, we either hire a tricycle or a van to transfer you to El Nido town Our representatives will then accompany you to our boat waiting on the beach in front of our Alternative Center to transfer you to our  island retreat.
Appropriate clothing is advisable, it can be wet trip.
