Our Private Hideaway Island one of 21 island gems studding Bacuit Bay in the El Nido Marine Reserve, Palawan, Philippines.
This land of priceless stunning beauty and peace, famous for its breathtaking black marble seascapes, offers you a rare experience in your lifetime.

She welcomes you to her magical and private paradise to step out of fast lane and into a unique timeless older world.

Check out this latitude and a longitude link of 11° 5′ 57.87″ N 119° 24′ 30.64″E, not far from Hong Kong that takes you to Google Earth and you can zoom onto our remote island.

Palawan, called last frontier of the country, is the furthest western island of all the 7001 islands that comprise the archipelago of the Philippines.

El Nido town is 80 minutes by plane from Manila and a 5 hour van journey from Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan.

Our Island is 35 minutes by boat from El Nido town, 15 minutes by boat from Manlag, our nearest mainland landmark.

In the middle of the South China Sea, private island is shaped like a foot, (means ‘Land of the Big Foot’ or ‘Foot on the Ground’) or to those who love her; ‘the most beautiful island of Nido’.

Our retreat center is in the toes of the island, the small fishing village is in the arch of the foot.

Many of the islands here are woven with mystery and the higher realms and we regularly give thanks to our angels, divas and elementals and we have given many of them their own names and often calls them up for higher journeying.

We encourage you to avail of some journeying healing to better to connect to where you are at in your life right now. You can book 90 minute or longer evening sessions with Libby if she is here.

Inabuyatan island, our majestic view; like all our islands here are woven with interesting spiritual folklore not to mention lot of buried treasure of many long years ago.

Bacuit bay has 21 exotic and interesting islands, many with great corals for a snorkeling trip very near to us and great for you to explore and to marvel at when you are here.

Here is some important things to remember:

1. Before You Arrive….

To have a stronger, more effective rejuvenation, it’s a good idea to help the process by eliminating (if you use them) cigarettes, coffee, drugs, rubbish & processed foods like sugar, salt, white flour, alcohol, fatty foods & other heavy foods especially meat.
Ideally begin eating a ‘whole-food’ diet like freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, fresh fruits, salads or lightly steamed veggies, whole grains like brown rice etc., fresh unsalted seeds & nuts. Several days or even a week before you arrive try eating just fruits, fresh veggies & fruit juice.

For the best benefits from your rejuvenation you should know the following:

1. Pack and wear ONLY natural fibers, meaning cotton, silk of wool, not man-made fibers All acrylic fabrics can be very toxic. Look for a naturally made swimwear, NOT spandex.

2. Nail polish and acrylic nails are highly toxic, especially for those with health issues or joint aches and pains. We encourage you to remove all nail polish from both fingers and toes before arrival and NOT paint while on your program, as your body absorb toxins from the paint on your fingers and toes.
3. Pack and bring only natural personal products, like toothpaste, creams etc. Same story as above. You won’t need makeup while here, so give your body a well earned break.

Things to bring:

1. Flashlight (headlamp is best) and your MP3 /IPOD for some music.
2. 1 pair of cotton socks + 1 pair of wool socks (hope you can find)
This is for your own evening lymphatic therapy and we’ll show you how to use them.
3. Scented candles and incense for your pleasure, your mood, and p for sharing.
Ear plugs can be useful if you are a light sleeper our waves sound a little noisier than some visitors like.
4. A few Semi Precious Stones or crystals to plant in the nearby rocks or leave in nooks and crannies to offer up a symbol of respectful connection to our protective nature spirits. It’s a fun thing for both you & me to remember too.

Connecting to the Internet:

Please know that our Internet connection is often slow as currently our provider is Smart (3rd world equipment I think)
A quick 10 minute check at home, might be 30 minutes or more here….he..he.

While here on your program, we suggest you use a computer/Internet for emergencies ONLY… preferably once or twice a week or the least amount of time possible. If you are Ok with this, we are happy to lend you one of our laptops and modem for such SHORT times, every now and then.

Lunch-time or after 5pm is best when staff are not here.

Alternatively THINK AND PLAN IN ADVANCE:
If bringing your own laptop or having to borrow one of mine, do consider if you will need longer time to buy your own Internet Modem Plug-it

This way you will be free to go online whenever you want.

You can’t buy this Modem from here in El Nido, thought with planning we may be able to arrange buying one in Manila before you arrive.

Costs are approx. $25-30 and we can buy load cards for the modem from El Nido town.

Regarding Cellphone use:

The same applies. …Use as minimally as you can. If bringing a phone, our better provider is ‘Smart’, though we also have Globe but its a hit and miss signal.

If a phone is important to you, consider buying an inexpensive one here in the Ph, (price is as low and $25 up) with a Smart simm, rather that trying to get a dual simm system or using roaming.

Ops….Last but maybe not the last:
If you could find the time I’d really appreciate it if you could bring us 1 bottle of good quality peppermint essential oil please or even a little interesting and different local dried seaweed or some miso… Whatever is easier and in your area..
